Coral Dome

Presented at InOut 2025, the project reinterprets marine environments through natural lines and organic forms, driven by generative AI parametric logic in synergy with human sensibility.

All the inspirations of the underwater world—modular patterns, material textures, colors, and light effects—were synthesized by AI and reworked into images, then selected through precise criteria. The result is a structure composed of four semi-open elements made of overlapping slabs: a modular system designed through a generative algorithm capable of creating a micro-space that evokes the natural stratification of rocks and enables complex aggregations.
Coral Dome emerges from a design process that blends nature, AI, and computational design. A customizable and scalable modular shelter, capable of reinventing itself like a coral.
