Scalo Porta Genova

The masterplan fills a 20,000 sqm urban void, transforming former freight warehouses, the open yard, the terminal area, and part of the station parking lot.

The Social Hub is the first completed area, featuring a 2,000 sqm green square that hosts food services, coworking stations, and event spaces. The terminal area and the disused zone adjacent to the Social Hub will soon be repurposed for sports, cultural, and recreational activities for both adults and children.
Within the parking area, the Riders Hub will be developed, featuring a semi-covered square designed to become a reference point for couriers. The hub will include restrooms, a lounge area, an automated food point, and bicycle maintenance tools. The project transforms the former railway yard into a multifunctional space open to the community.
Located in the Navigli district, one of Milan’s most vibrant areas, the project delivers a regenerated space dedicated to leisure, sports, social interaction, and cultural activities for all.
