With over 50,000 square meters of surface area, the data center stores and safeguards critical Public Administration data in the Milan metropolitan area.

The building’s overall structure remains unchanged, while a complete strip-out of the interiors converts former production and storage areas into data halls. Outside, a technological island and a small orchard are introduced.
The intervention redesigns and expands all photovoltaic systems on the roofs and includes significant seismic upgrading of the structures. The data center meets high standards of security and environmental impact reduction, achieving several environmental certifications.
The project contributes to the reuse of existing building stock and fully meets requirements for flexibility, adaptability and reduced environmental impact.
