A New York con Intertwining (en) Intertwining in New York

Culture and building/building culture: the second issue of the magazine Intertwining, presented at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York on 29th October, was based around this double meaning of the word “Baukultur”.

Intertwining is an international, interdisciplinary magazine, which focuses on theintertwining of the human sciences and architectural production/design processes. Aimed at grasping the experience of architectural space and construction from both a bodily and cognitive viewpoint, the magazine focuseson the sciences and arts - with special attention to input from the neurosciences - which are both studied as fundamental means of knowledge for embracing the complex and multidimensional nature of this issue. The magazine brings together various experts from different fields: scientists, philosophers, art historians, psychologists, anthropologists, artists andarchitects
