LE VELE

A façade echoing the waves of the nearby lake, in harmony with the landscape, welcomes visitors to the regenerated commercial complex in Desenzano del Garda.

In open dialogue with its surrounding context, Le Vele is defined by the presence of greenery and by a rhythm of transparency and chiaroscuro created by a perforated metal façade that filters light and air from the outside.
The undulating motion of the shopping center’s architecture blends naturally into the lakeside landscape, whose elements and heterogeneous morphological system inform the design of the new gallery, shaped by a composition of forms and materials rooted in the local context.
The façade adapts in a chameleon-like way to the lake, its waves and sails, creating a system that integrates harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.
