Electrolux Innovation Factory

The project enhances the original industrial aesthetic, shaping collaborative, creative, and operational zones for the Industry 4.0 innovation community.

The Electrolux Innovation Factory was conceived as a platform for open innovation, designed to promote exchange, experimentation, and cross-contamination among R&D departments, startups, and external partners. The intervention interprets the existing industrial shell, retaining original floors and vaulted ceilings while organizing 1,000 sqm into complementary spaces: a Self Café and relaxation zone, a Creative Area featuring a central natural tree, an operational open space along with a startup section, adaptable conference rooms, and a Flexy Area. A wooden stepped seating structure leads up to an elevated Terrace with private booths. Exposed systems, raw materials, movable furnishings, and high visual permeability ensure flexibility, reconfigurability, and a strong industrial identity.
The Electrolux Innovation Factory establishes itself as a regional catalyst for open innovation, a laboratory where industrial aesthetics, technology, and ongoing collaboration converge.
