BOOM Innovation Center

BOOM is the new Innovation Center born from the collaboration between CRIF, a global company specializing in credit information and business solutions, and Fondazione Golinelli, an institution focused on education, training, and research.

The project redevelops a space originally defined by a rigid layout, transforming it into a modular and flexible environment. On the ground floor, the reception, info point, experiential corridor, and a divisible training room are designed to host group learning activities, while interactive screens guide users along the paths and support the learning experience.
A stepped seating area with a mirrored ceiling leads to the first floor, where a multifunctional auditorium with over 60 seats unfolds, alongside an open space for startups and touchdown areas. The internal connecting tunnel is defined by acoustic paneling and LED lighting – materials and finishes carefully selected to ensure durability, comfort, and energy control.
To guide the choice of shapes, lighting, colors, and materials, psychological tests were conducted with employees to understand their spatial needs. The insights gathered were then translated into the project’s design guidelines.
Modular spaces, integrated technologies, and reconfigurable environments transform the building into a learning hub, designed to support a new, evolving approach to education.
