The new EY headquarters in Rome transforms the workspace into a collaborative, clear, and recognizable environment, built around the metaphor of a beehive.

Spanning approximately 18,000 square meters across nine above-ground floors and three basement levels, the project combines functionality, corporate identity, and new ways of working.

EY Roma e Wavespace

The project organizes the interior spaces by translating the metaphor of the beehive into geometries that structure the operational areas while allowing greater openness for support, break, and collaboration spaces. The rectangular floor plan, developed around a central patio, ensures clear circulation thanks to symmetrical vertical cores. The ground floor houses the reception, recruiting area, and training spaces, while the workspace unfolds from the first to the sixth floor with a coherent and repeatable layout.
The Wavespace completes the project as an environment dedicated to innovation: seven immersive rooms conceived as a laboratory of collective intelligence, where architecture and experience support collaboration and the development of ideas.
The metaphor of the beehive guides the entire project and creates a strong spatial identity, making the workspaces more intuitive, recognizable, and dynamic.
