MIPEL & MICAM

The project organizes visitor flows, booths, and common areas into a more intuitive and welcoming layout, designed to improve wayfinding, the visitor experience, and commercial quality.

The project introduces a new spatial layout for MIPEL and MICAM inspired by the city’s structure, organized into boulevards, main streets, secondary pathways, and a central connecting plaza. In MIPEL’s Hall 5, the redesign begins at the entrance area, serving as the first testing ground for a more orderly and effective visitor experience. Within the main loop, smaller pathways branch off, housing pre-fitted stands of small, medium, and large sizes. The central plaza hosts shared activities, trend zones, and production demonstrations, strengthening the dialogue between the two events.
The general lighting is dimmed to highlight the booths and improve wayfinding. The central plaza concentrates shared functions and creates a direct point of contact between MIPEL and MICAM.
