Bernina 12

The project redefines the overall image of two buildings, three and four floors high, by reshaping façades, entrances and common areas to enhance the identity and relationship with the urban context.

The restyling redesigns the façades with large glazed surfaces and metal frames, introduces a double-height lobby for the building on Via Bernina, and provides a separate entrance for the other building from Via Piazzi. The replacement of the boundary wall with a glass fence creates a new internal square. Reorganized and expanded lobbies, new glazed rooftop volumes with terraces, ground-floor commercial functions, and coworking spaces complete the flexible open-plan floors, adaptable for single- or multi-tenant use.
The strategic upgrade of building systems, including HVAC and lighting, make Bernina 12 a versatile complex capable of adapting to future use scenarios while engaging with a constantly evolving urban context.
