Di Ognuno 2025

The installation contrasts a deliberately dysfunctional breakfast room with a space designed for everyone’s wellbeing, making errors and best practices of universal design tangible.

DI OGNUNO presents at Hospitality 2025 a design space dedicated to the breakfast room, exploring the concept: “we are used to discomfort, we must get used to comfort.” The project addresses inclusive and comfortable environments by focusing on dietary, physical, and cognitive accessibility needs.
The footprint-shaped installation becomes a metaphor for individuality: just as every footprint is unique, so are accessibility conditions. The first environment emphasizes discomfort, while the second offers a concrete experience of comfort through inclusive design solutions. Visitors receive a “menu” of design guidelines translating inclusivity into practical, replicable solutions.
DI OGNUNO 2025 uses direct comparison between comfort and discomfort to let visitors experience what it means to design with physical, sensory, and dietary accessibility in mind.
