Euroluce 2023 - Salone del Mobile

An irregular ring-shaped layout enhances the visitor experience and the visibility of exhibition stands, also through the use of an unexpected element: darkness.

The project adopts a grid-based system that connects the four exhibition halls into a single continuous route. The new spatial geometry guides visitor movement, reducing the average walking distance and enhancing the overall experience through public areas dedicated to rest, events, and cultural activities. Easily navigable paths and multisensory signage simplify orientation and ensure the highest level of accessibility and inclusivity throughout the fair.
The exhibition space is transformed into a “black box”: natural light and most artificial lighting are switched off to highlight light installations.
