Lingotto

The comprehensive refurbishment conserves and enhances many of the building’s original elements, while expanding the centre's offering across two levels by connecting courtyards and the food court in a unified architectural journey.

The project increases the retail area by 35% by incorporating the southern portion of the Lingotto building, Pavilion V, which is converted into a covered plaza, facilitating the redistribution of spaces.
The vertical movement between the ground and first floors is highlighted by a 550 sqm opening that reaches a height of 12 meters, which enhances the flow between the levels and is accessible through two newly created entrances.
The commercial layout has been rationalized to optimize and energize all areas by leveraging the entirety of available space. The design preserves the original industrial structure, leaving systems and beams exposed, and integrates new entrances with green elements that reinforce the urban identity of the renewed Lingotto.
Lingotto Shopping Centre revitalizes its interior and exterior spaces, encouraging interaction between people and the environment, and reinterprets the relationship between the building and the city, making it vibrant, dynamic, and multifaceted.
