Napoli Centrale Food Hall

At the heart of the project lies a double-height space beneath Nervi’s skylight, featuring a rooftop garden and optimized flows between travel, shopping, and urban relaxation.

The Food Hall is organized across three levels: a basement housing storage and technical areas, a 2,100 sqm ground floor, and a 3,200 sqm North mezzanine, connected by new escalators. The central core is a large double-height void illuminated by a hexagonal skylight, transformed into a rooftop garden that integrates greenery and natural light. Fast and slow dining areas coexist within open-plan spaces defined by fluid lines across flooring, ceilings, and hanging terraces. Advanced acoustic systems enhance sound comfort, while continuous glass façades, new commercial frontages, and triangular-based branding ensure identity, visibility, and architectural coherence.
Napoli Food Hall transforms the station into a contemporary, multisensory hub, offering efficient circulation, acoustic comfort, and transparent spaces for an immersive break in the heart of the city.
