MIND Student Housing

Both LEED Gold–certified buildings integrate student residences and shared services within a system of collective spaces and covered pathways, contributing to urban structure and permeability.

The first residence, located near the university campus, is organized around an open portico mediating between public and interior spaces. A double-height lobby with suspended mezzanine distributes access to 546 rooms in various configurations, totaling 646 beds, and to shared functions located between ground floor and mezzanine, including study rooms, gym, recreational spaces and a dining area accessible from outside.
The second building, located in the West Gate area, rises 14 floors and relates to both the pedestrian Decumanus and Piazza dell’Acqua. Shared spaces overlook a double-height gallery connecting both façades, while an internal bike ramp ensures direct access to underground bicycle parking. Green roofs with water storage systems and photovoltaic installations complete the environmental and energy sustainability strategies.
The articulation of porticoes, galleries and bicycle ramps defines a continuous network of thresholds and paths integrating student residences with pedestrian infrastructure and public spaces of the MIND district.
