Parco Scientifico Tecnologico - Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna

The project integrates advanced research and technological innovation, with infrastructures designed to mitigate climate risks and improve the quality of space.

The campus is designed with a future-proof approach based on climate scenarios developed by IPCC and LaMMA. Strategies against heat waves, intense rainfall, and flood risk take shape in retention basins that regulate excess water and become spaces for outdoor activities. The NZEB buildings are built with low-carbon materials, while the use of photovoltaics reduces emissions and consumption.
The ESG approach supported by neuroscientific analyses optimizes comfort, orientation, and accessibility, strengthening the relationship with the Monti Pisani landscape through the rotation of the seven pavilions.
The Park defines a model of sustainable architecture oriented toward well-being, a combination of scientific research and care for the territory within an innovative ecosystem.
