POLO TECNOLOGICO UNIVERSITA' DI CARPI

The project was initiated by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Carpi, in collaboration with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the Municipality of Carpi.

Set within a green landscape, the university center is a key component of an integrated development strategy for Carpi.
The project represents a social and political initiative aimed at community well-being and growth. A new underpass connects the site to the city center and railway station.
In addition to hosting a satellite campus of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, the hub accommodates startups and academic spin-offs, fostering interaction between research, innovation, and community-oriented activities.
Cloisters, lawns, and recessed spaces enhance the relationship between architecture and its context, while interior spaces also host cultural activities promoted by the Foundation and the Municipality.
